Following a 'difficult' communication issue between a staff member and a manager that led to a situation where they could only communicate via email, Defence Housing Australia (DHA) agreed with both parties that one avenue to try and resolve the dispute would be to engage a professional mediator. The goal was to engage both parties and gain agreement to a communication plan that would resolve the breakdown in communication and allow both to move forward to achieve business objectives.
